Remarks

» Blue Crane has a small relict population in Etosha National Park. The highest recent count was 67 (60 adults + seven juveniles) in April 2006, at the end of an exceptionally wet season. Since then, as it has become progressively drier, numbers have decreased. Personally I saw 5 individuals during one week stay in Etosha at last November.
